One of the reasons clients choose to work with me is that my career has been in the business world. I can relate to day-to-day business activities and also the challenge of getting your head around using English in the business environment. Having spent more than 30 years in the Global IT industry in sales and management I can take a more practical approach to my clients’ learning needs. I have seen first-hand how English is used in the global business world.
I was fortunate to have experience with international contacts spanning Europe, America, and the Asia-Pacific region. This means I can help with practical business activities, such as using English for presentations, meetings, negotiations, networking, and specialist vocabulary. This has kept me busy for more than 10 years with assignments and clients in Europe..
Building confidence
All my clients lack the opportunity to use their English on a regular basis. When confronted with having to use English for work, they have lost their confidence and struggle to find the words they want to use when speaking to their business contacts, customers, suppliers, or colleagues in their own organisation. Learning another language is a continuous process and requires regular exposure to the language you are trying to master – if you don’t use it, you lose it.
My focus with clients is to help them to build up their confidence and skills in a practical business manner from someone who understands the business world. Taking it online
Now that online technology has finally matured into a usable solution, I have been working online and one-to-one with my clients. I am not constrained by the geographical limitations of physical travel and can effectively provide coaching to anyone with a reliable internet connection and a PC/laptop. This has been a win-win solution, I can offer personalized online training at a competitive rate.
As your business English language coach, I discuss your requirements with you directly and I can offer more flexibility than large training organizations.
